Old MacDonald Had a Banjo is an educational show live on Facebook every week day at 11:30AM Central Time. The 15 minute shows feature Old Mac teaching about and playing a variety of instruments and songs.
Old MacDonald (Paul Imholte) has taken the shows he would normally be performing at libraries and festivals to his basement during this time of shelter-in-place.
The children’s album Old MacDonald Had a Banjo and several other instrumental and song albums by Paul Imholte are available as CD or digital download at Bandcamp. You can also stream the music for free on the band camp page.
Old MacDonald shows will always be free for everyone—if you're able to support financially, you can tip Old MacDonald or Ms. MacDonald directly on Paypal, Venmo, or by purchasing an album above. We're a true mom-and-pop shop, and we appreciate you singing and dancing with us every morning.
Scrappy Owls are created by Ms. MacDonald from repurposed fabric remnants. They come to watch and listen to Old MacDonald every morning; they can come perch at your place, too! Pick the one you want.
Owls are available for $10 (+shipping) email: oldmac@paulimholte.com.
Old MacDonald shirts were screen printed by a small business in Central Minnesota. Youth sizes S-M-L in 100% cotton yellow, blue and purple, and adult size L in poly/cotton green, pink and black are in stock now. Others will be available when shops are running again.
